Strong release tooling and operations automation background. Strong aptitude towards understanding complex existing provisioning and deployment mechanisms, with an ability to support and enhance them. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with rapid, overlapping product release cycles and shifting priorities. An ability to articulate deployment requirements for automation. Willingness to work occasional evenings and monthly weekend rotations. Required Technical Skills BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. 4+ years in a UNIX/Linux Release Engineering role, including Building J2EE based applications with Maven Continuous Integration (Hudson/ Jenkins preferred) Deploying websites Isolating build/deployment issues versus code issues eCommerce experience preferred 4+ years working with web server technologies (2+ with JBOSS required.
