This will be a LA based position for the team within Global Business
Services IT (GBSIT). The team supports multiple corporate lines of
businesses (i.e. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Research Library,
Code of Ethics, Corporate Communications, and Risk). May require periodic
travel to Irvine.
· Business Systems Analyst
· Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user
needs.
· Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and
formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
· Requires 4-6 years of experience.

· Technical Skills off Shore Vendor Experience 1 -
2 Years

· Business Experience
· Experience in analyzing business requirements and providing
multiple options for meeting those requirements
· Experience in business process modeling and business related

· Significant experience in eliciting and documenting
requirements from various levels of business users
· Strong knowledge of the full software development and
project management lifecycle
· Experience in developing test cases and performing QA
· Experience in managing User Acceptance Testing
· Strong technical skills and ability to translate technical
issues in simple terms to business users
· Some understanding of programming techniques and
infrastructure is desirable
· Strong understanding of relational database concepts
· Experience in writing SQL Queries
· Experience in supporting web-based technologies
· Experience in supporting Vendor applications
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience in supporting and training users on different
systems/applications
· Experience in maintaining, managing, and prioritizing open
items lists for different applications
*Interpersonal Skills*
· Strong relationship building skills
· Experience in working with technical teams (onshore and
offshore) to estimate level of effort and manage development
· Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal
skills
· Good presentation and meeting facilitation skills
· Ability to present ideas and information in group settings
and to Sr. business leaders
