!! IMMD NEED !! Product Manager -- Oakbrook Terrace, IL - 3 Months Contract !! Job Title: Product Manager Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL Duration: 3 Months Contract Responsibilities: Create and maintain the Enterprise BI 12-24 month roadmap, a subset of the larger Enterprise Product Roadmap, from the ground up Work collaboratively across the organization, with stakeholders from multiple teams, to deliver on the feature sets and roadmap Be the liaison between the technical side and the business side and be the advocate for the Shared Services BI needs. Develop deep understanding of the “end customer,” which includes internal corporate users across the enterprise, and their needs. Identify and track key success metrics and utilize those metrics to communicate successes and to make informed decisions Complete competitive analysis, industry trends, and benchmarking work Develop business cases, concepts, features, scope, and requirements Serve as an integral part of the master product delivery process, working to ensure the most critical business problems are prioritized and solved Prioritize requests, and make trade-off decisions / recommendations based on critical business needs and technical feasibility Take creative risks to develop breakthrough opportunities Actively participate in the Enterprise Governance Process Required Skills: Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management 3-5 years of IT experience and working knowledge of data analysis, query design, and reporting/visualizations a plus. Knowledge and experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture a plus. Have a bias for action and a passion for delivering exceptional products Possess well-developed business judgment which permits the creation of meaningful insight from potentially disparate findings. The ability to think creatively about solutions is a key success factor in the role. Strong experience in translating business needs into requirements Ability to synthesize complex technical issues Excellent research, written, verbal and presentation skills Education/Experience: Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline MBA a plus Travel might be required once per quarter.
