* * *Hi,* *Hope you are doing Great* * * *Role : GIS Business Analyst in * *Location : Houston, TX*** *Duration : Contract* * * *J.D : Looking for the consultant who is EXPERTISE in **Oil and Gas Domain* *Key Job Responsibilities:* · Collaborate with customers, gathering and modeling business requirement /data, business processes and other business rules in order to ensure alternatives have been carefully considered and chosen solution meets business objectives • Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis and/or viewpoints · Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by technical team, including offshore developers • Responsible for documenting, developing and finalizing business and functional requirements • Involved in testing, training and implementation of applications/solutions Outside context of new development work: apply appropriate business analysis tools and methods as needed in support of existing applications or in support of study of proposed changes to business processes · Coordinate overall GIS Roadmap ensuring all major activities are captured, updated at least once a month and communicated in official GIS status update. • Coordinate change management and incident management activities that impact multiple teams in GIS - Proper communication for change is in place - Interfaces and dependencies are properly identified and validated - Support documentation is updated - Incident resolution plan is created and executed - Root causes are identified, documented and shared · Domain Knowledge is a must for this role – At least 2-3 years prior experience working as a GIS Analyst/BA in the Oil & Gas Domain. · Strong Core GIS Basics – Educational Background Geology/Geography/GIS is a good to have attribute. · Strong ESRI Knowledge – Good experience working with ESRI Suite of Products (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE) · Any kind of scripting knowledge (Python preferably), development experience is a good ad-on but not a must. · Strong Communication & Customer Interfacing Skills *Core Competencies:* - Proven experience with input to policies, strategic plans, and operational plans where spatial information systems or data can be integrated - Proven experience with integration between GIS and information systems from finance, assets and operations - Experience with the strategic direction of GIS in an organization - Experience with Enterprise GIS Applications - Experience using ESRI software specifically ArcGIS * * * * ** *Thanks and Regards * *ANIL KUMAR * *Ph No : 212-389-9503 Ext. 204 * *Email i.d : anil.ku...@damcosoft.com * * * *Website : www.damcosoft.com* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
