Duration : 6+ Months contract* *REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and/or implementing PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 or higher Experience in development of Queries and nVision reports Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and apply them in troubleshooting to assist in issue resolution Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Maintains and makes required data or structure changes to financial system tables for company level entries for Tribune Company and Business Units to ensure seamless financial operations, system interfaces, and data integrity. Provides necessary system updates for Security requests, system configuration changes, workflow administration and chart field maintenance. Develops financial queries and reports pertinent to financial users’ needs and requirements. Provides timely feedback and resolutions to end users for systems problems and system support requests. Provides timely documentation of system support requests to allow for accurate reporting of call statistics. Assists the FIS Support Team in testing and implementing strategies for system upgrades, modifications, new company configurations and data conversions. Maintains a high level of PeopleSoft system knowledge required to understand and support Tribune users and the financials systems. Provides and maintains accurate documentation of system design, modifications, testing, policies, and procedures. Works closely with Tribune Company business units and Maintains effective working relationships with users and co-workers. Collaborate with the business owners to document and translate business requirements for all application change requests into functional design documents and partner with the technical team to implement a solution Document test scripts and perform system testing on all fixes, queries/reports, and application enhancements Responsible for all table configuration/maintenance as well as query and nVision report development Develop training guides and online tutorials for new applications, functionality and enhancements* *ROLE/PURPOSE:* *Responsible for providing daily administration and end-user support for the PeopleSoft financials system.
