Position: Websphere Portal Developer with Cloud Experience Location: Chicago, Illinois Duration: 6-8 Months *LOCAL CANDIDATES ARE STRONGLY PREFERRED* Description: Our client has a contract opportunity for a seasoned Websphere Portal Developer with Cloud experience in Chicago, IL. We highly prefer a local resource or someone willing to relocate to Chicago for the duration of the project. An in-person interview in Chicago, IL will be required. Essential Functions of Websphere Portal Developer: -Strong in designing and developing IBM websphere portal solutions - WebSphere Portal 6.x and above. -Candidates should have solid understanding of J2EE application development, including the ability to read and understand servlets, portlets, and Java Server Faces (JSFs). -Should have strong experience in Portal design with Design patterns. -Must have Cloud experience.
