Description: Role summary: The Senior SAP FITS Program Manager is responsible for the design and delivery of all VWGoA major SAP based system upgrades and replacements as defined within the approved Future Initiative and Technology Selection (FITS) Program portfolio. The Senior FITS Program Manager is responsible to ensure that the goals or objectives of each approved sub project are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. A major requirement of this position is the coordinated integration of business system projects and support processes with key stakeholders. Role responsibilities: • Drive delivery across subprojects to ensure subprojects meet their objectives. • Recommend to IT management the strategic direction for FITS Program • Establish Financials requirements and monitor finances for FITS Program • Validate synchronization of Major Milestones across all SAP FITS sub-projects • Provide strategic oversight and establish priorities to multiple sub project teams, vendors & projects • Liaising with VWAG and VWM off shore/near shore support teams & external vendors/partners to ensure that the required project deliverables, schedule and costs meet Program guidelines • Approve sub project methodologies, staffing and project plans • Approve project deliverables as they relate to overall FITS program portfolio • Approves changes to sub project plans regarding scope / schedule / cost changes • Ensure the subproject scope aligns with the FITS program portfolio and requirements of stakeholder groups • Represent stakeholder interest including business partners, affiliates and IT management • Provides timely business decisions and resolves conflicts that are escalated to Steering Committee • Assist with escalation of issues and resolution of roadblocks • Apply sound business judgment to overcome program or subject difficulties • Develop a complete understanding of the VWGoA SAP suite of application landscape & operating processes and procedures implemented by VWGoA IT, VWAG IT, VWM organizations • Ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of all SAP FITS sub projects • Assist GM and AMS Team leads in future system enhancement planning • Represent executive management to internal and external business interests • Attend/facilitate all FITS program leadership meetings o Steering Committee o FITS IT Sub Committee o Working Committees • Execute communication plans, including messaging and channels o Issues and risks as encountered o Overall project TLRs and updates as appropriate o Publish management decisions and directions to responsible parties • Single point of contact for Internal AMS and PIM teams related to coordination of FITS program portfolio IT projects • Ensure supplier SOW requirements are fulfilled and initiate corrective actions where necessary • Coordinate overall VWGoA Manpower resource requirements RISK Management Duties: • Identify risks and conflicts to the successful timely implementation of the overall SAP FITS program • Identify and implement Risk Mitigation measures to resolve program risk and set up practices to ensure subject risks are managed appropriately • Participate in regularly scheduled status and planning meetings to assess risk. • Define risk management processes, roles, and responsibilities Financial Management Duties: • Define overall SAP FITS program budget • Assist sub project managers in creating and maintaining budgets and forecast • Work with individual PMs on budgeting and forecasting requirements and consolidation into FITS program budgeting requirements • Maintain Financial integration with internal team leaders on budgeting, monitoring and forecasting • Assurance that Financial requirements are collected from responsible project managers and incorporated into overall FITS program budget / forecast requirements. • Provide variance analysis of budget vs. actual / financial performance • Present budgeting and forecasting requirements to IT and Financial leadership • Assist in the preparation of Project Business cases as required • Assist in the preparation of required internal Financial documents as required, ( I.E.
