Job Title:Business Analyst with a strong Scientific/Pharma background. Location: Cambridge, MA Duration: 6+month Note: Experience with Agilent ELN. Job Description: Will be responsible for providing business analysis, user training, user support, testing scripts drafting, and execution, application testing, and hands-on systems support for multiple technologies within the research and development application portfolio, especially in Agilent ELN and E-storage solutions for discovery/research scientists. The R&D BA will help to gather user feedback and provide technical solutions to user community, such as Creating user specific ELN Template, generating report/query and making application configuration changes to meet the business needs. This position requires constant collaborative interactions with co-workers across functional groups and departments globally. Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential. Needed Skills: Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate with team members locally and at a remote site and be able to work independently on a given assignment within timeline. Need demonstrated ability in establishing strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand the strategic direction and priorities for the business domain. Must have experience with drug discovery/research lab process as well as experience with data reduction and management and data flows. Experience with R&D ELN implementation is required and should include experience with Agilent Openlab product, such as Agilent ELN and E-storage products. Have demonstrated extensive scientific user training experience, such as prepare the user training material, conduct user training session and Q&A sessions. Have strong documentation skills and mindset with the ability to present the status and finding. Familiar with validation process and documentation. Functional understating of Linux and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL server). Preferred Skills: Programming/scripting skills: SQL, Python, Unix/shell scripting, .Net, JavaScript, Java, Education: MS in Chemistry or Biology related field with 3 years related experience or BS Chemistry or Biology related field and an MS in Computer Science with 5 years related experience, or equivalent. ..........................................................................................
