*Immediate need a SQL DBA/DEVELOPER - BACKEND - GA* *Position : SQL DBA/DEVELOPER - BACKENDLocation : Atlanta, GA Duration : 6+ Months contractRate : a445/hour on C2C * *Job responsibilities: * *Install new instances of Remedy ARS 8.1 with ITSM application suite version 8.1 ( Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, Service Level Management, Virtual Agent and CMDB/Asset Management) Configure the product with single sign-on capability, high-availability and defined security standards such as SSL enabled and encryption. Migrate critical data (such as CMDB CI data, Knowledge articles, Service Request Definitions and foundation data) from older version of Remedy to version 8.1. Migrate / develop customized code from older version of Remedy into version 8.1 with overlay capability. Install new instances of BMC Analytics - latest version; and configure to enable reporting capabilities. Install new instances of BMC Atrium Orchestrator - 7.6.03; and configure to enable workflow automations Upgrade the existing Java based API integrations to work with Remedy 8.1 Responsibilities includes tasks in the full upgrade lifecycle, not limited to: Define the requirements from the users and process owners, Analyze requirements and make recommendation to utilize out-of-the-box solutions, Document the design, Develop Remedy application customizations, code and application configurations, integration development, Perform unit testing, Facilitate SIT/UAT and resolve issues, Document implementation and back-out plans, Support deployment into non-production and production environments, Document release notes help with training and document job aids Follow release guidelines and change process, furnish required artifacts based on the change process. Support the Remedy application development (code) issues in production and perform hot fixes/enhancements. * *Qualification: 5-7 years of experience with BMC Remedy implementation and upgrade.
