Job Description:

This person should be comfortable working on a wide variety of systems,
both old and new. A desire and ability to understand and work with
unfamiliar data structures is an asset.

The ideal candidate will be a person who has had experience using
Informatica Lifecycle Management (ILM) as a tool for archiving databases.
He or she will:

• Know how to analyze the structure of a source database, construct the
target database in the archive and transfer the data from the source
database to the archive database.

• Know how to test that the data has been archived correctly.

• Know how to create and apply retention policies and legal holds to data
in the archive.

• Know which tools to use for each part of the archiving process and how to
get the best performance out of these tools.
• Know how to use data masking to hide sensitive data.
