Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Job Title : Sr Informatica Administrator Location : Washington, DC and Herndon, Reston, VA(Prefered Local) Duration : Long Term Job Description: • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with of relevant experience. • Experience in Capital Markets, Trading or Financial Services is highly preferred. • Strong experience in installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining a scalable and high performing Informatica solution (Power Center 8.6.1,9.x) in support of business processing requirements. • Upgrade experience from 8.X to 9.X is must. • Experience in software installations and upgrades to Informatica software packages. • Maintain high availability and performance for production environments. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and SDLC environments (Informatica Application, Databases, etc.) reported through monitoring systems, support teams, and trouble tickets as per established SLAs. • Collaborate with project, architecture, and release teams, providing input on architectural design recommendations, driving standards, plan and execute effective transition to production operations. • Experience in Installing Informatica on UNIX, including upgrading versions and applying patches • Strong Unix skills and shell scripting. • Experience with PowerExchange, VLTrader, B2B Data Exchange, Data Quality, and Data Explorer • Experience designing and Implementing backup strategies for Informatica environments. • Experience automating object deployments on versioned repositories from DEV to QA. • Implement capacity management and performance best practice guidelines and monitoring. • Strong SQL skills and Oracle Exadata data experience a definite plus. • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
