*Position:Project ManagerLocation:Albany, NYDuration:2 Years Contract* Project To examine specialized managed care models that integrate acute medical and long-term care services to achieve improved outcomes and quality of care, while lowering costs. Implementation of the People First Waiver will require major information technology supports which will result in dramatic changes to the IT infrastructure. The changes affecting the IT infrastructure will include creating a managed care delivery system; development of more flexible, person-centered, community-based supports and services; coordination of comprehensive services; and improved quality measurement and transparency, in order to facilitate enhanced quality of life for the individuals served by the State.
Required Basically a PM with the healthcare/disability background. 5 yrs managing projects related to the health care industry. 5 yrs direct experience with analysis and documentation of business systems or processes by describing relevant factors including work flow processes, data input and output activities, descriptions of data elements, and overall program goals, objectives, and external considerations, such as federal and state mandates. 5 yrs direct experience writing deliverables, including business and functional requirements as well as design, development, testing and deployment plans. 5 yrs direct experience facilitating requirements sessions with business/program subject matter experts. 5 yrs documenting Project Plans (business case, charter, scope, communications plan, schedule, risk management plan, issue log) 4 yrs assisting with and facilitating communications, which requires the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. ------------- ------------- David Bell Technical Recruiter Consulting Knights Inc. 100 Overlook Center 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
