Information Technology’s Global Application Management’s (GAM) Support organization is the face of application support to our customer system users worldwide. The goal is to help people that are using our more than 500 applications get answers to questions, resolve problems, and educate and support them to more effectively use the application. The Global Application Management organization is charged with supporting over 500 enterprise applications used by more than 7,000 employees throughout a truly global company. The Application Administrator will support users primarily in our Cambridge offices. The purpose of this position is to provide support for our customer selected IT services. The primary services pertain our customer research lab area, including support for Hamilton robotic systems, custom in-house automation software applications, and other. The applicant should be competent in *programming languages (C/C++ preferred*), experience with coding practices with a solid understanding of software lifecycles and shell scripting, experience in wet-lab automation, and other. These skills will be needed to respond to, debug, troubleshoot and resolve system incidents and outages, and in providing the highest level of customer care.
