*Position:Hadoop Developer Location: Chicago, ILDuration:6 Months* Key Requirements: 7 or more years of development experience with Java 3 or more years of experience in Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, or vice versa. 2 or more years of experience with Hadoop Clusters, including experience setting up, configuring, and monitoring Hadoop file cluster. Expert knowledge of SQL (Both Hadoop/Hive and RDBMS) Working knowledge of Hadoop internals such as file storage formats (Sequence Files, Columnar files, Parquet) and optimizing long running jobs. Experience working with a Data Visualization Platform like Tableau/Cognos Experience working with Cloudera and/or Hortonworks Hadoop stacks is a must. Certification is a plus. Proven skills for developing and self-testing work Knowledge of the Big Data technology landscape is a plus. Knowledge of Health Insurance industry is a plus.
