Immediate Need For SAP NetWeaver Consultant - Interview And Start ASAP!! Job Title: SAP NetWeaver Consultant Location: Wendell, NC Duration: *1 month (Approximately 21 days - a minimum of 96 regular hours plus 16 weekend hours or a maximum of 144 regular hours plus 24 weekend hours)* The SAP Consultant provides knowledge and experience of upgrading the SAP content server now part of SAP Netweaver. Knowledge of the latest SAP requirements and restrictions regarding both the server (hardware) and SAP specifically in the area of SAP Database configuration and its connections to a Content Server is requisite. The consultant will advise and direct regarding the SAP configuration changes required including the timing and sequencing of the same for the purpose of upgrading from a Windows 2003 server to a Windows 2008 server. Knowledge of the current applicable SAP Notes, patches and Support Packages is required. Knowledge of the current set up for SAP PPR is required. Experience with a similar upgrade is required. Expert knowledge on the PDM configuration within SAP and the associated interfaces with different types of content servers is required. SAP Database manager MAXDB knowledge is required for this configuration. Thorough application knowledge of SAP PDM and the content server (SAP Netweaver) requirements including SAP Notes and instructions plus technical knowledge of a server upgrade and the associated sequence of the requirements for both the server and SAP Netweaver are necessary. Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the area of the PDM module for providing guidance regarding steps to avoid adversely affecting the business and ensuring a successful transition to a new 2008 server. At least 10 years SAP technical and configuration experience related to SAP PDM in the area of document storage/retrieval. Extensive experience in the SAP PPR implementation of SAP PDM with content server application. Knowledge of the business' process for handling engineering drawings within SAP PPR.
