*Location: Washington, DC*

*Job Description:*

Specific Requirements:


   - Masters degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 7 years
   - relevant experience in building Peoplesoft systems using Peoplesoft
   and
   - Database technologies
   - Expertise of PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, Peoplecode,
   - Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher and overall excellent technical
   skills on
   - the Peoplesoft Development platform
   - Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle platform.
   - Excellent ability to write complex and optimally tuned SQL queries,
   - producing adhoc reports, load data into the database, write Oracle
   Stored
   - Procedures – Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers.
   - Expertise in Application Engine and SQR programming for producing
   - complex reports and batch processes
   - Excellent working knowledge of BI Publisher and ability to develop
   - complex reports, letters and forms and calculation sheets
   - Hands on experience of Peoplesoft Workflow knowledge expected and
   - working knowledge would be desirable
   - Sufficient knowledge and working experience with rule based systems.
   - Knowldege of Peoplesoft integration tools – like Integration Broker,
   - Component Interface etc.
   - Knowledge of Web Development technologies and methodologies
   - Excellent Technical Writing Skills
   - Knowledge of Peoplesoft HR/Benefits/Payroll functional and technical
   - aspects, table structures
   - Be familiar/comfortable with HR/Benefits/Payroll business and related
   - terms in general
   - Ability and willingness to propose creative and optimal solutions.
   - Proven and demonstrated experience in full system development life
   - cycle – Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and
   - Maintenance.
   - Excellent knowledge of testing stages and methodologies, specifically
   - unit and perform thorough testing of developed programs and document
   test
   - Sound understanding of and experience with issue tracking, and source
   - code repository.
   - Understanding of CMM concepts and methodology

General Requirements:


   - Be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high
   - standards of quality.  When given a task, it is expected this person
   to be able
   - to determine the best way to deliver the results
   - Finds the appropriate tools to implement the project and propose
   - innovative solutions to meet the business needs
   - Be a quick learner and ability to pick up new business processes  and
   - technologies quickly with minimum supervision
   - The ability to respond effectively to application manager’s requests
   - and needs.
   - Take technical specs and produce completed and well tested programs
   - which meet user satisfaction and acceptance and precisely reflect the
   - requirements.
   - Take functional specs and come up with high quality technical specs
   - Conduct requirement gathering sessions with user community and SMEs,
   - elicit requirements and document functional specs and get validated
   and signoff
   - from users
   - Person will be required to prepare technical documents like technical
   - specs, flow diagrams, ER diagrams, user manuals, training materials
   etc.
   - Communicate proactively with other team members and team lead.
   - Use collaborative skills to work with project managers, task force
   - members, database administrators, system administrators, users and
   other staff
   - Adhere to project schedules and report progress regularly
   - Prepare CMM required documentation for project, when applicable
   - (Impact Analysis and Design, Test Cases, Migration release note etc.)
   - Ensure that Bank policies, procedures and standards are factored into
   - project design and development.
   - Conduct Peer Review on Code and Test Cases prepared by other team
   - members, to assess quality and compliance with coding standards.
   Perform
   - various types of testing as needed
   - Prepare weekly status reports and participate in status meetings -
   - highlighting issues and constraints that would impact timely delivery
   of work
   - program items.
   - Participate in the estimation of work plans, test plans and
   - implementation plans.
   - Ability to work in high pressure situations and tight schedules,
   - quickly producing excellent solutions and solving problems, production
   issues
   - The person must have the ability to work in a multicultural
   - environment, and have excellent process, functional, communication,
   teamwork
   - and interpersonal skills, and willingness to work in a team
   environment to
   - support other technical staff as needed. The person should have high
   tolerance
   - for ambiguity.
   - Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills.
   - Excellent oral and written communication skills
