*Job Description*
Required
Candidate should have excellent communication and documentation skills
and should be able to independently perform L2/L3 activities without any
supervision or guidance and also able to independently do the
implementation of new devices
The candidate should have expertise in carrying out the following tasks:
· Install / POST of new network gears like Switches, Routers, F5
Load Balancers, Cisco firewalls, Core range device’s
· Configuring network devices such as routers, switches,
loadbalancers like F5 LTM/ GTM, ASA firewalls as per the Topology designed
· Implement the required network protocols and establish
connectivity, VLANs, Port configurations
· Implement and test WAN connectivity and bringing up connections
· Install, operate and troubleshoot Enterprise network
infrastructure
· Verify the configuration as per the design and Incorporate
best practices
· Monitor and troubleshoot network access bottlenecks and
security threats
· Identify and help resolve multi-vendor network issues
· Work with other server teams for network related configurations
· Documentation of the implementation procedures & steps
· Configuring the policies on the devices as per Standards like
Banners, Out of Band access, etc.
· Enabling security rules as per the client standards and
compliance
· Working with other infra teams for build phase of the setup
· Proactively collecting all the accessories, design,
configurations that’s required for the implementation
· Naming/ Labelling of associated hardware’s, cables, ports etc.
for ease of troubleshooting by BAU teams
· Integrating the devices with Authentication servers , TACACS
configuration
· Loading and installing all relevant latest patches before
making live the environment. Need to refer the OEM vendor or Client
guidelines for this task
· Support in compliance of inventory that’s being implemented
for the migration project.
· Configuring for proper monitoring tool& should be able to
show-up on the monitoring stations
· User admin profile creation / access permissions/ access level
configurations
· Performing configuration changes on Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and NX-OS
Devices
· Performing configuration changes on Cisco ASA Firewalls
· Implementing the reverse proxy configuration
· Configuring Route-Maps on Cisco devices
· Configuring secure SSL certificates on load balancers
· Implement and manage Cisco ICE/ACS Solutions
· Implement EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, GLBP
· Implement authentication using Active Directory, RADIUS, and
TACACS+ AAA.
· Support for Rack & Stack of the network gears
· Training to operations team for sustenance, troubleshooting
guides preparation
· Highlighting of location specific risks to project manager
and support for mitigation of risks
Preferred
• Cisco Certified Network Administrator ( CCNA ) – Must
• ITIL V3/V2 – desired.
