This person will also help with the implementation strategy of user experience across multiple web sites and portals. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility to identify new technologies that can be used to make the user experience as rich as possible on the web sites. The role also evaluates systems architecture and application design and provides guidance and feedback to project and architecture team in best coding practices and improvements. The ideal candidate has a previous working knowledge of multiple software development life cycles including Agile, Waterfall and other methodologies. *Key Responsibilities:* The developer will work closely with team members to perform the following tasks using a combination of solid development experience, business requirements understanding, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Work closely with business team, business analysts, and architects and be able to quickly understand the new requirements and helps to identify the changes to the system. · Work closely on a day-to-day basis with development team, designers, copy writers and other IT teams. · The role develops and presents recommendations from analysis of current solution. Assist in design peer reviews, code peer reviews, build and unit test functional enhancements. Identify areas for code refactoring. Review and contribute to development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities. · Be able to offer solutions and designs to solve process, project or program issues; provides recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness. Defends a recommendation and can confidently support it. · The person will have the urge and drive to take initiative and propose changes back to the business for better user experience. Have the ability to resolve issues without any supervision. The ideal person will work with internal and external test teams, database teams and architects to get the tasks completed. · The person will also serve as a coach/mentor for the other U.I and back-end developers on the new system requirements and/or enhancements being requested and help them drive the solutions. · Responsible for development of Java/JEE code to meet specifications and designs and using best practices. Development of a world-class Spring/Web services code-base. · Prior experience in Effort estimation and task breakdown - estimating cost of implementing new changes and identifying risk. *Minimum Qualifications:* · 5+ years of experience planning, designing and building complex web sites and applications. · 3 - 5 years of experience in Java full lifecycle development experience and very good knowledge of Spring and SQL. · Working experience with Web services (Rest or SOAP), JPA/Hibernate. · Working knowledge of build tools - Ant, Ivy and Maven. · Good working knowledge of MVC framework (Struts, Spring or Webflow). · OSGI experience is a plus. · Experience with team mentoring including peer reviewing of code and design. · Experience developing highly transactional, highly available real time applications. · Exposure to production deployment and production support. · Ability to work in a team environment to develop and implement design. · Works collaboratively with stakeholders to understand constraints and expectations. · Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Demonstrated ability to guide, facilitate, and/or lead the efforts. · Independently possesses the ability to diagnose complex situations into manageable parts. · Experience working in an Agile development methodology · A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline *Preferred Qualifications:* · Previous experience of working in larger teams · Previous experience in development of on-boarding and user registration web applications · A master’s degree in a technical discipline. *Thanks&Regards* *K Kumar* *Pronix Inc * *[email protected] <[email protected]> * *Work : 732 947 4816 |Fax : 732 909 2000* *www.Pronixinc.com <http://www.Pronixinc.com> |E-verfiy company * [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
