*Must be Green Card or US Citizen* *Must have: Trizetto's FACETS experience!* Basic Duties: The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for working with business, functional and technical teams to define, design, document, educate, and support implementation of data solutions to meet business objectives. The Enterprise Data Architect will work throughout the design and implementation phases of system development lifecycle, to ensure the delivered solution meets the goals of the Enterprise Data Architecture team and is aligned with the Enterprise Data Strategy. This position reports to the Director, Data Architecture. Responsibilities: Ensures adherence to principles, policies, and procedures that support the Enterprise Data Strategy Provides tactical solutions that drive Strategic direction Recommends, develops, and governs data and information standards, guidelines, and procedures Translate business requirements into data and information structures Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specifications, operation guides, process flows, and other technical schematics Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components Develops technical design specifications Develops enterprise data flow diagrams Leads technical meetings, as required Evaluates technical performance challenges and recommends tuning solutions Focuses on solving problem at hand; recommends permanent solutions Utilizes decision-making techniques successfully Conveys ideas clearly and tailors communication based on selected audience (technical and non-technical) Charts various processes, procedures and workflows accurately Writes and updates task/project status and reports. Problem Solving & Judgment Requirements: Strong Background with Enterprise Data Architecture components including but not limited to… Master Data Management (MDM) including Reference Data Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Data and Information Governance Data and Information Security Metadata Management Enterprise Modeling Data Warehousing Big Data Data Flow diagrams Erwin Data Modeling and reverse engineering. Knowledge of Business Process Management systems Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Health Care Payer Provider experience a plus Knowledge of WTX, XML, JAVA, ASP.NET, UNIX scripts Knowledge of Trizetto Facets Healthcare system and Sybase a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities on demand Effective in inter-personal and team-oriented communications: Interacts with others (internally and externally) diplomatically Negotiates and compromises effectively to reach group consensus when necessary; Possesses effective and active listening skills Utilizes various communication styles as necessary to achieve assigned tasks Ability to work effectively with end-users, project teams, management, and external clients with minimum supervision Minimum seven (7) years Enterprise Data Architect experience Minimum three (3) years Health Care experience Keeps abreast of industry standards and development best practices.
