Hi,
I'm looking for a way of retrieving a unique identifier of the host system
from within a guest. Preferable an identifier that does not change if the
guest is moved by V-Motion.
What I understand, the uuid is configurable by editing the vmx file so this
is not good enough.
I'm looking for an identifier that cannot change without reinstalling the
host system installation or similar.
Does any one have any tips of what I can use?
