So it seems the sync code is doing its job, but it's weird that you're seeing 
this kind of drift. I'm not too familiar with time keeping in VMs, but I'll ask 
the people who know whether it's normal.

They're not really from 2 different organizations (both come from VMware 
ultimately), it's just a different way of distributing the code (among other 
things that an open source project provides).
