Dear CoMSES community,

Recently, we've made some improvements to the CoMSES Net Computational
Model Library at www.openabm.org. Now, models in the library display model
*author(s)* instead of just the person who uploaded the model.

If you have any models in the model library, please make sure that you and
any co-authors receive proper credit and citation for your model. We are
asking that you edit any models you have in the library to make sure that
the appropriate author name(s) are stored with the model. When you are
logged in to OpenABM, your models can be found at
http://www.openabm.org/models/mymodels In order to update the author
information for your model, you must select each model, edit it, and add
your name and those of any co-authors you wish to include.

Also, if you have published a paper based on or referencing a model you
have placed in the library (or have an article accepted for publication
that does so), we can issue a persistent internet resource identifier for
citing your model. With the collaboration of the ASU Library, we are
creating unique "handles" for published models (these are equivalent to
DOI's which are, in fact, a type of "handle"). This will provide a
permanent, reliable weblink for the model citation. Please let us know if
your model has been published and qualifies for a handle.

Finally, we ask that you visit your profile (accessible from the My Profile
button on the main page) and also update your name on your Profile as well
as any other details of your profile that might be out of date. To edit
your profile details, make sure you are logged in to OpenABM. If you have
to log in, you should be taken to your Profile automatically. Otherwise,
click "My Profile" in the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
Click the "Edit" tab and then "Profile."

Thanks for making CoMSES Net an even more valuable resource for members and
others using scientific computation
