Ah.  I get the idea now.  So, you'd have a line similar to:
afs: files dns
where files=CellServDB and dns=AFSDB

I know I certainly would enjoy a NIS or NIS+ delivered CellServDB.  I'm
sure others would enjoy an LDAP delivered CellServDB.  Perhaps support for
these should be moved into the respective NSS libraries?  I imagine that's
more difficult than it sounds.  Lots of vendors...
