[OpenAFS-devel] os x patches included in 1.2.9?

Recently, we've been made aware of some wonderful patches by Alexi 
which fix several of long lived problems for OpenAFS on OS X (for 
example, the finder - afs/unix uid mode bits problem).

Will these patches be included in the released 1.2.9 package? Or we 
will need to grab source and compile ourselves?

And related to that, is there an approximate release date? I am asking 
as I am trying to decide if I should go ahead and apply the patches to 
the 1.2.8 source for installation here.
