OpenAFS 1.2.10-rc1 is now available for testing from:

Changes from OpenAFS 1.2.9 include:
- Support should be present for HP-UX 11.22 on IA64, Linux on AMD
Opteron processors, and for User Mode Linux on x86.
- On Linux, the client will now prevent the cache partition from being
unmounted while the client is running, and will prevent afsd from
shutting down while AFS is still mounted.
- A potential loop condition in the cache manager has been corrected.
- Several fileserver defects have been corrected, including a potential
deadlock at shutdown time.
as well as other various and sundry bug fixes.
Please try out this candidate release and report your findings.
