There is also an "enhanced" version of this which fixes some of the problems in what is included with redhat.

For whatever reason, it detects if /afs is mounted separately from /,
and
tries to use krb524d if it is. That doesn't work with our setup, and
it
takes 50 seconds each time to realize it.
