It is true on all platforms that nothing knows what PAG ID's exist.
Processes, tokens, and other auth-context-dependent data are all labelled with PAG ID's. New ID's are allocated in sequence.
So, you don't even know if a pag id is in use in the much lauded aix pag implementation?
