Hallo Hartmut - I saw this and my friday-fried brain did go "PING!": I think I see this too with new 1.3.78 clients (fedora3). Can you point me what patch I should try to back out? In addition to that I think there is something broken in the dynroot corner, but I have not found a way to reproduce it or debug it. fs checks reports everything OK but ls /afs hangs infinitely. I have disabled dynroot but still se occasionaly "server down" in spite that server being up up up! Harald.
