I believe that. But rx-makecall-race-fix-20050518 can not be the _cause_
for the "many connections" behaviour because it was introduced after
1.3.77. Right?
except that the orriginal statement by jeff was not that this might be a
side effect of the fix, but rather a side effect of the bug that was fixed.
