Twenty feels a bit small -- I would be a bit more generous with the history. FreeBSD's tinderbox setup (http://wiki.freebsd.org/Tinderbox) has a very nice script/parser that summarizes where in the build the error occurred and gives a reasonable amount of context. It appears to be a perl script (two links away from the one above), but I haven't looked at it much and don't know how closely it is tied to our 'buildworld' structure. Anyway, it might provide some inspiration.
