No, I lied :-) -- I hadn't actually started the build, and as soon as I did,
I got stuck trying to figure out how to build the damn git repo, since
there's no configure :-(

All the builds I've done up to now were from either the 1.5.77 source
tarball I downloaded, or the source rpm I generated from that.   I know how
to handle 2 of the 3 build environments I need.

Go ahead and use your change.  I'm 99% sure we probably did the same obvious
thing anyway.   This one wasn't rocket science.

However, regarding build form the git repo...   Is there a document on how
to build it somewhere?  All the one's I've found in my meager searching thus
far assume you have a configure script.
