1.7.11 is a snapshot from master from more than three years ago.

If you look at master you will find that there are even more changes for
Unix systems.

The current stable version for Unix is 1.6.11.1.

I will point out that no one maintains a NetBSD builder for OpenAFS and
there is no active developer maintaining NetBSD. As such it is not
surprising that OpenAFS might break due to drift in both NetBSD and
OpenAFS.  The list of current operating systems for which OpenAFS has
builders can be found at
