For what it's worth: I see very little spam on the OpenAFS mailing lists. I certainly see more spam on other computer-related mailing lists that I am on. (although I'd also say that most of those lists do a pretty good job of filtering out spam, but some spam still gets through). I'll also say that there is an email address that I used only two or three times, and all of those were to report bugs to the FreeBSD project. That account never got any spam until after the bugs were reported, and after that got a lot of spam. But the spam was not coming *from* the bug-tracker site. Some spammer picked up the address from the site, and then added that address to the long list of spam addresses that they were already sending to. -- Garance Alistair Drosehn = [email protected] Senior Systems Programmer or [email protected] Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Troy, NY; USA _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-devel
