Hi, As i posted on my new message, what i want to do is:
- Use SMB for windows accounts - Use AFS for linux accounts - Use AFS automount for mounting SMB accounts.... - Use the same password files in both servers... - The automount "maps" should be provided by LDAP Is it explicit enough or do you need further explanations? Thanks for you attention Luis Bivar Ramos -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: quarta-feira, 26 de Maio de 2004 10:56 To: lbramos Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [OpenAFS] Another Doubt - LDAP and SMB "lbramos" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Hi, > > Now that i have afs running, is it possible to "add" LDAP and SMB? > > Or i have to do everything from scratch again? What do you want to do ? - export AFS via SMB ? - run SMB instead of AFS ? - do you want to put your users in LDAP instead of using a /etc/passwd ? /Jimmy _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
