(compiling on a fast chrp machine, testing on an old MCA system, thus the --host and --with-afs-sysname)
I can start AFS, cd to system:anyuser directories, and see everything fine. Once, I "klog", though, about only thing that doesn't crash the system is "tokens". "fs" and "ls" take it down in short order.

I can give you compile access on a fast (well, 8 minutes to compile) production system, and test access on a slower (probably hours to compile...) one.
I have no real need for server functionality, only client.
