there is rcs revision history for all the files, so no, it's not.
... and the whole tree gets copied into AFS every night ... and the volume is replicated (though I think autorelease is broken atm) ... and it gets dumped to tape every once in a while
That said, if someone wants to volunteer to clean things up and maybe monitor new user registrations and nuke the ones that look bogus, I can set them up with the necessary bits.
