Hello there,
I see different symptoms from the osi_cache problem above. I am using
1.3.81 on Fedora Core 3, kernel 2.6.11-1.14 Disk is ext3, the ntfs driver is also loaded.
I start afs fine, but the first 'ls' freezes the system entirely. There is nothing
in the log.
If I start AFS and then shutdown, I get a more helpful crash from 'umount'
Last line is:
<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: fs/fs-writeback.c:96: spin_lock(fs/inode.c:c03c01b0) already lockedby lib/dec_and_lock.c/32. (Tainted: P )

I applied the patch for osi_cache, but it seems irrelevant.
  Any ideas, anyone?
       Bill
