What are people doing for printing, particularly Windows printing?

OpenAFS is nothing like "Samba" where you share printers and files alike over the network. It's a filesystem. Printing has to be done separately.

Still it's a valid question, if you are migrating from samba to AFS you have
to replace samba with something else for printing (or continue to run samba
just for printing)

Here we use lprng for printing, it works fine in both *ix (linux+solaris)
and windows (2000/xp), windows supports this "out of the box", even if
you have to manually add "LPR printing" as a windows component.
