Thanks for this information. Surely I should upgrade. But the servers are IBM 
pSeries and OpenAFS is not so well supported under AIX. So I am always glad 
to have running servers/clients and do not upgrade before there is a real 
need to do so. I do not want to blame anyone. I realize that AIX is not widly 
spread and not important and man power is scarce. My answer is delayed 
because I was out of the office for 10 days.
