yeah, but you shouldnt modify the kernel's autogenerated files yourself.
undo your changes, and do what the kernel says.  something like
'make menuconfig' and 'make prepare' should be enough (the kernel needs
to build some scripts that the openafs kernel module build system
uses).  i guess you installed the kernel-devel rpm?
Hm...that gets me further, but into the 'rlim not defined' problem which is
said to be to do with bad kernel preparation.

  I will check on Fedora to see if anyone knows what is changing.
