From the Visual Studio 2005 install log:
"Error 1335.The cabinet file
'_14314_VC80_PDB_WINSXS_ATLMFC_x64.msm'
required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be
used. This could indicate a network error, an error
reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this
package."
I think this problem is fixed in 1.5.29. There was a bug in the
prefetch logic that could result in random timeouts and the CIFS client
would report BAD NETWORK PATH to the application.
