Secure Endpoints staff has attempted to replicate this problem using
32-bit Win7, OpenAFS 1.5.74, and MIT distributed KFW 3.2.2.

Attempts were made with the machine in standalone mode and joined to a
domain. Both with domain and non-domain logon credentials.

In no manner were we able to reproduce this issue or associate it
with KB980408.

Is there anyone else who has seen this issue?

Is SNA able to provide any additional information that can be used to
attempt a reproduction?
