Thanks Lars, I tested with these settings. The results were around those 150KB/s with 20M/2000 files and 500+ KB/s with a single large file towards AFS, the latter of which crashed again. I need to find a way to check and fix the filesystem, BTW.
I guess I'm expecting to have some single major issue somewhere that is causing 80% of the problem, whereafter different settings help to optimize the last 20%. Actually, I'm hoping that dozens of different settings aren't needed to reach the 80% :) br, jukka > > My OpenAFS filkeserver options are: > parm /usr/lib/openafs/fileserver -L -udpsize 131071 -sendsize 131071 > - -rxpck 700 -p 128 -b 600 -nojumbo -cb 1500000 > parm /usr/lib/openafs/volserver -nojumbo -udpsize 131071 > > > >> br, jukka >> > > > MfG, > Lars Schimmer > - -- > - ------------------------------------------------------------- > TU Graz, Institut für ComputerGraphik & WissensVisualisierung > Tel: +43 316 873-5405 E-Mail: l.schim...@cgv.tugraz.at > Fax: +43 316 873-5402 PGP-Key-ID: 0x4A9B1723 > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ > > iEYEARECAAYFAk9q19gACgkQmWhuE0qbFyMMSwCdHdVnaGmmdZyJZQJddIUXaaYm > GqQAn2kxxX+UN4RUtJWZSOlW/SRCoNWd > =FanT > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list OpenAFS-info@openafs.org https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
