BTW: That's not pam-afs-session's fault. It did the right thing before uninstalling dbus-user-session. It's gdm's (or better Gnome's) fault, because it meanwhile heavily depends on the systemd/systemctl --user stuff. sddm, for example doesn't have this problem (AFAIK). Bye...
