Well, like politicians, a successful open source project needs to be responsive to its users. :-) I think there are two classes of documentation: 1) Developer-level docs (e.g., tutorials, API, etc.). I think doxygen or a similar generator works OK here, particularly for code documentation. Consider, for example, Qt or even Apple or Microsoft's developer documentation. These are generated automatically. We should be doing much better, and I agree with Noel's comments that we should be generating nightly updates. 2) User-level tutorials. > have already been implemented.
