I used a Windows program "Publish or Perish" to do this using Google Scholar 
(http://www.harzing.com/pop.htm) It gave 400 papers for Open Babel with a total 
of 2900 citations. This gives Open Babel an h-index of 25, and a g-index of 43.

I think we could probably dump that list somewhere, but it's a little 
unwieldy...
