Hi,

Open Chemistry is offering to serve as a Google Summer of Code "umbrella"
organization for multiple open source projects (e.g., Avogadro, cclib, Open
Babel, etc.). This is not limited to those projects - if you're working on an
open chemistry project and would like to be part, please let me know.

We have posted a wiki page for project ideas - students can also propose new
projects as well:
http://wiki.openchemistry.org/GSoC_Ideas_2015

What would be some good projects for Open Babel? Improved support for
organometallic compounds would be near the top of my list, but I'm open to
suggestions.
