Hi, Open Chemistry is offering to serve as a Google Summer of Code "umbrella" organization for multiple open source projects (e.g., Avogadro, cclib, Open Babel, etc.). This is not limited to those projects - if you're working on an open chemistry project and would like to be part, please let me know.
We have posted a wiki page for project ideas - students can also propose new projects as well: http://wiki.openchemistry.org/GSoC_Ideas_2015 What would be some good projects for Open Babel? Improved support for organometallic compounds would be near the top of my list, but I'm open to suggestions. -Geoff --- Prof. Geoffrey Hutchison Department of Chemistry University of Pittsburgh tel: (412) 648-0492 email: geo...@pitt.edu web: http://hutchison.chem.pitt.edu/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New Year.
