thanks for your work on this!
I'm fine with putting it into conda-forge. bioconda will depend on
conda-forge and we are also working together with them. bioconda will
also at some point provide Windows builds, but this is not a
top-priority at the moment.
I would not create a new channel for openbabel builds but rather merge
it into conda-forge/bioconda.
