Jumping on this thread, but. What I find weird is that the 2.4 library version is 4.0.0 while the 2.3.2 library version was 4.0.2, i.e. higher. At least the above link lists a ton of removed symbols, so shouldn't the library version have been bumped to 5.0.0?
