Probably the best is to upload your patch together with some
example files to patch tracker at SourceForge:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=40728&atid=428742

Then someone from developers will review it and commit to
repository.

If you already have SVN access you probably can just go ahead
and commit it.
